Pencil Point Construction was established in 2011 with the simple idea of creating a construction company that was architecture driven, but most importantly capable of realizing design of the most refined and intricate nature.

By offering both architecture and construction services under the same roof, Larry E. Boerder, along with General Contractor Dan van der Zee and his team, have returned to the historic idea of the Master Builder. This, in ancient times was regarded as an individual who could not only build a structure based upon plans prepared by an architect, but also inherently understand the artistic vision behind them. Such a man would weave together both the technical knowledge required to create a sound building, with an understanding of the key aesthetic importance of scale, proportion and detail, the three essential pillars of classical design. It is the attainment of these principles that continue to guide the Pencil Point Construction concept.
